Suggestions to repair the Wikipedia Article "Tamas Waliczky"

edit

My name is Tamas Waliczky. I was recently reviewing the Wikipedia article about me and saw the error messages. I thought maybe somebody can help me to fix these issues and update the article a bit at the same time. Long time ago somebody started this Wikipedia Article about me. I don’t know who he or she was. Later, a Wikipedia editor added to the article that there was no evidence of my activities. Therefore, I edited the article, adding a list of publications and other information. I did not check Wikipedia rules; I did not know that I should not edit an article about myself. I just wanted to improve the article. As I see since then several people edited the article about me. Thanks for all of them. I would like to suggest some changes in the article. Please let me know if you can make them, or have problems or questions about my suggestions. Wikipedia is a very important information source. Thank you for your work.

Here are my suggestions to repair the Wikipedia Article about me:

- In the second paragraph the website of IAMAS is https://www.iamas.ac.jp/en/, if you want to include it. - Also, in the second paragraph there is a comment “citation needed”. In the IAMAS website there is a publication called “the Interaction ‘99”. https://www.iamas.ac.jp/iamasbooks/en/wp-content/uploads/1999/03/the-interaction-99.pdf This can be used as citation. This shows two works of mine what I produced during my artist-in-residence at IAMAS. It also includes the sentence: “IAMAS in Gifu, Japan, has chosen Waliczky as artist-in-residence in 1998-99.”

- In the third paragraph please feel free to delete “Institut fur Mediengestaltung (IMG)”. It was my mistake, it is a false information. - Also, in the third paragraph, please change the name of “Fachhochschule Mainz” to “Hochschule Mainz (Mainz University of Applied Sciences)”, because they changed their name in 2017. Their website is https://www.hs-mainz.de/en/, if you want to use it. - Also in the third paragraph, the website of HBK Saar is https://www.hbksaar.de/startseite, if you want to use it.

- In the “Notable Wok” section you can add the following works to the list: · Leaves (computer animation installation), 2025 · The Word Green (computer animation installation), 2025 · A Study on the Suspended Body (computer animation installation), 2024 · Free Fall (In Memoriam P. F.) (computer animation installation), 2024 · Vision on Mong Kok East Footbridge (computer animation installation), 2023 · Sunlight in Mong Kok Viewed from My Window (computer animation installation), 2022 · Self Portrait with Food (computer animation installation), 2022 · Tsim Sha Tsui Seaside Trees (computer animation installation), 2021 · View on Shek Kip Mei Park, 2016-2021 · Swinging in the Garden (computer animation installation), 2021 · Puppet and Gravity (computer animation installation), 2020

- In the “Public collections” section you can add the following institutions: · Videonale, Kunstmuseum Bonn, Sammlung Oppenheim, Bonn, Bonn, Germany; https://archive.videonale.org/en/artists · Video Des Beaux Jours, Strasbourg, Strasbourg, France; https://www.lelieudocumentaire.fr/videotheque/?_sf_s=waliczky · Australian Centre For The Moving Image, Melbourne, Melbourne, Australia; https://www.acmi.net.au/works/108543--tamas-waliczky-compilation/

- In the “References” section please feel free to delete all the printed publications. Only the 7 references should remain in the list. You should add a "Selected Publications" section, and move the list of the printed publications there.

- You can add an “External links” section, which can include the following links: - Tamas Waliczky’s web site; https://waliczky.net/ - Tamas Waliczky’s works on YouTube; https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCow32AEz4lPjKBVsPUo3qIQ - Tamas Waliczky on ADA (Archive of Digital Art); https://digitalartarchive.at/database/artist/98/ Twalic (talk) 03:16, 8 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
