Untitled
edit"It is not known whether or not he was inspired by the name of the American railroad, Amtrak, as interviews with the author have been removed from the Internet. Mr. Tilley may be involved in a trademark issue with the railroad."
It is known, or at least it was. It was implicity implied in the books as well, although revealing why/how would be a plot spoiler. -Bastion
Over at the The Amtrak Wars article, it says Tilley said "there was never any problem with the US rail company over the use of the name". -Wootery 11:58, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
'Family'
editSeemingly a history of silly little edits adding people like 'Vienne Tilley' and 'Pike Tilley', no citations for which alleged relationships exist. He himself gave his wife's name as 'Janine' in the biographies in his own books, and she is a co-director of his companies (including one, Cloud Warrior Productions Ltd, named after his book- https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/02175356/officers) and appears resident with him in Wales, where he is known to have lived. No other relatives seem to be able to be corroborated and at any rate seem quite irrelevant.
