The beginning section states, “In June 2018, CKE CEO former Jason Marker announced that….”. Shouldn't that be changed to, “…former CKE CEO, Jason Marker, announced…”? 76.187.71.61 (talk) 00:58, 19 August 2021 (UTC) 76.187.71.61 (talk) 00:58, 19 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Didn’t open in Israel.

edit

Please change the line “and plans to open in Israel” as the article is from 2016 and almost ten years later today they have no plans to open in Israel. 2A02:14F:1F3:B4DE:8B7:C513:3AE0:694B (talk) 15:28, 8 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Controversy Edit Suggestion

edit

Under Advertising > Controversy, the line "while others, including McKinney's elderly grandfather, enjoyed the ad" seems a bit sensationalized.

The cited article (accessible now only via wayback machine: http://web.archive.org/web/20150209065235/http://www.people.com/article/charlotte-mckinney-dad-loves-carls-jr-commercial) explains "McKinney's entire family has expressed support and excitement over the ad"/"They're my No. 1 fans," with only a mention that her grandfather saw the ad. To only include the bit about her 'elderly grandfather', without the greater context of her whole family's general support, reads as a choice made to evoke a particular response rather than communicate unbiased information.

I suggest changing "Critics suggested that the ad "sets feminism back four decades," while others, including McKinney's elderly grandfather, enjoyed the ad." to either:

"Critics suggested that the ad "sets feminism back four decades," while Mckinney's own family was enthusiastically supportive of her role in the ad," or,

"Critics suggested that the ad "sets feminism back four decades," while others enjoyed the ad." Removing the misguided reference entirely. Or something similar. ~2026-30422-09 (talk) 00:46, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
