Ali Bey Evrenosoğlu Death

In so many articles, the death of Ali Bey seems to be parroted. His death is listed as being in 1440, but he is given the mission to kill Murad's son, Şehzade Küçük Ahmed by Mehmed in 1451. Previously, he was supposed to have perished in while attacking the walls of Belgrade Castle in 1440. It's very confusing and though it appears to be that he died in Belgrade, all articles have him killing Murad's Shehzade.
