editGiantSnowman, I don't understand. What does "Being squad member in tournament not sufficient" mean? The SEA Games is a FIFA-sanctioned competition. --Paul_012 (talk) 23:55, 21 November 2018 (UTC)
- Did he play in the tournament? GiantSnowman 08:36, 22 November 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, he did. This forum post corroborates the fact (though it's unusable as a source). NFT's data is clearly incomplete. --Paul_012 (talk) 16:22, 22 November 2018 (UTC)
- No, no, no - did he actually make an appearance in the tournament? Being a non-playing squad member does not matter. Is is a FIFA-sactioned tournament (ie do appearances count as 'full' caps)? If not, to either, then 1995 is not the right year to 'end' the career. Either way you don't have any reliable sources supporting your claims. GiantSnowman 19:56, 22 November 2018 (UTC)
- Yes. That post mentions him appearing in the match against Cambodia on 12 December 1995, where he scored two goals. Reliable sources would certainly exist in the form of TV broadcasts from 23 years ago, but I obviously don't have access to those. I don't know about how football circles count "full" caps; you're probably in a better position than I am to answer that. --Paul_012 (talk) 02:04, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
