Roja Kannan (born 6th October, 1960) is an Bharatanatyam dancer, teacher, choreographer, arts administrator based in Chennai. She is known for her contributions to the classical arts fraternity. A disciple of Guru Padmashri Adyar K. Lakshman and Kalanidhi Narayanan, She has been performing and teaching for over five decades.

She has trained extensively in Carnatic vocal music from V.R.Krishnan and Shyamala Venkateswaran. Roja Kannan also trained in Nattuvangam. She performed her arangetram with her sister Meena in the year 1978 under Guru Kavi Aravindakshan. She has been performing since in all major festivals in India and has also toured internationally multiple times.
Kannan founded a dance school, Bharatha Natyalaya, in 1987.[1] She was awarded the Kalaimamani for Bharatanatyam for 2017.[2]
In 2012 Kannan was based in Alwarpet, Chennai.[3]
