She also holds an LL.M. in Constitutional Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and studied political theory at the Autonomous University of Madrid.[2]

Political career
editMedia Involvement
editAs a PPD leader and former national vice-president, Suárez provoked a party crisis in 2023 by stating on Vía X’s Tiempos Violentos that the PPD "got upset with Toha over SQM", which led to her suspension.[4][5][6][7] After the party lifted the suspension in July 2023, she clarified that she had spoken out of "justice" and "as a professional".[2][3]
Since 2022, she became a regular panelist on the political program Sin filtros, delivering technical and deliberative commentary on institutional issues.[8] In 2025, Suárez joined Amarillos por Chile and was appointed to its national executive.[1]
