Career
editYiğitalp won the silver medal at the 2019 Turkish Open in the −51 kg cadet division, and went on to claim gold medals at both the 2020 Turkish Open and the 2020 WT Presidents Cup Europe in the −59 kg category. She earned bronze medals at the 2021 WT Presidents Cup Europe and the 2021 European Youth Championships. Yiğitalp continued to compete successfully at the senior and youth levels, adding further podium results at events such as the 2023 WT Presidents Cup Europe, the 2023 Turkish Open, the 2024 Skopje Open and the 2025 Turkish Open.[2]
In domestic competition, Yiğitalp became Turkish senior champion by winning the women's 62 kg category at the 2024 Turkish Senior Taekwondo Championships held in Ankara.[3] She studies Psychology at the İzmir University of Economics through the National Athlete Scholarship Program.[4]
Yiğitalp won the silver medal in the women's 63 kg event at the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.[5]
