Career
editCarja represents the club Teuta and is coached by 'Eglantina Kalemi. She began competing internationally in 2023.
In March 2023, at the 2023 IWF World Youth Weightlifting Championships in Tashkent, she won the bronze medal in the 59 kg category with 87 kg in the snatch, 100 kg in the clean & jerk, and 187 kg in total.[1]
In June 2024, she competed at the 2024 European Youth Weightlifting Championships in Thessaloniki, Greece, lifting 86 kg in the snatch and 104 kg in the clean & jerk for a 190 kg total. She took gold in the snatch and silver in the total, becoming European Youth Champion at just 15 years old.[2][3][4][5]
