McDonald in a 30-11 vote.[3][2] Frank Roberson served as Secretary, and L. F. Chiles served as Assistant Secretary.[3] Several new senators were sworn in in 1910.[4] Three senators died, and five resigned, between the 1910 and 1911 sessions, and their vacancies were not filled.[5] All senators were Democrats.[3]
