Sanguine – Red chalk

The article previously titled Sanguine has been moved to Red chalk following an RM, and after some light rewriting it now focusses on the drawing material and barely discusses "sanguine" as the name of a colour. The lede picture used to be the colour swatch on the right, but I've removed it as I don't think it fits into the article any more. Any ideas for somewhere else it could go? - Is it possible to source a hex value for this color? I'd say any information about sanguines should go to Shades of red, etc. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 06:05, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
