Weezer national recording registry induction
editidea -
- 2026 – Weezer's self-titled debut album is inducted into the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress, which is one of few alt rock albums to be preserved in this way. Source
^would I be able to get this into the "on this day"? -Weez3forever (ttm!)-(contribs) (check them out! Weezer) 18:35, 15 May 2026 (UTC)
- Weez3rforever, as a suggestion, I might instead peg it to May 10, 1994, and say something like "Weezer's self-titled debut album, one of the few alt-rock albums the Library of Congress has selected for preservation in the National Recording Registry, was released". Note that the article should include the fact that it is one of the few alt-rock albums so selected, backed up to a source. --Usernameunique (talk) 18:52, 30 May 2026 (UTC)

Multiple bolded articles in one item
editWith apologies if this is discussed somewhere and I've missed it, can multiple articles be bolded in the same event? An example is the Benty Grange helmet and the Benty Grange hanging bowl. Both were discovered in the same excavation on the same day. Can they run together, or can only one be bold? Thanks, --Usernameunique (talk) 18:37, 31 May 2026 (UTC)
- I can't remember it being discussed but I have vague memories of two articles being bolded before. I any case both articles are great and I see no issue with showcasing both - Dumelow (talk) 08:10, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks, Dumelow. I've gone ahead and added them. --Usernameunique (talk) 22:03, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
- 1848 – Thomas Bateman excavated a high-status barrow, discovering objects including the boar-crested Benty Grange helmet, and the Benty Grange hanging bowl
- I'd look to provide an idea of the country they were found in for context and perhaps pipe the links to avoid repetition of "Benty Grange" - Dumelow (talk) 07:24, 2 June 2026 (UTC)

editSurprised and disapointed that D-Day is not listed. ~2026-33766-15 (talk) 20:45, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
