How do I start a discussion on a speedy deleted file? --- C&C (Coffeeandcrumbs) 16:46, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
- nvm, I found WP:DRV. --- C&C (Coffeeandcrumbs) 16:50, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
serial mis-licensing
editBrian.S.W (talk · contribs) has uploaded hundreds of photos of US state and territorial license plates, incorrectly tagging each and every single one of them as {{PD-USGov}}. To avoid having to tag hundreds of individual files, or even counting them for copy & paste here at FFD, is there a faster/better process? Cheers, — Fourthords | =Λ= | 15:38, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
- This was years ago, just fix the issue and move on Brian.S.W (talk) 15:45, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
- Removed PD-USGov tags from license plate uploads, except DC because I wasn't sure if that counted. SarekOfVulcan (talk) 16:22, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
- Oh wow, that was fast! Thanks! Now w/o a license tag, will they wind up being automatically tagged with {{nld}} or similar? — Fourthords | =Λ= | 01:43, 27 January 2026 (UTC)
Long-lasting noms lacking replies the new norm anymore?
editAs I have seen, nominations lacking replies lasted longer than seven days anymore, e.g. this one closed as "soft delete" a non-free file one month after listing. Well, I requested a closure at WP:CR. Back to the main issue, I just can't help wonder why listed files weren't deleted after at least seven days but rather longer than it should. Maybe recalling Fastily and Fastily's resignation contributed to this, but then that's implicitly assuming bad faith in other admins, and I don't want to go down that road.
