Wikipedia:Songs about Wikipedia/Wikimedia, Jimbo named you
"Wikimedia, Jimbo named you" (sic) is a song for wikipediholics about our favorite foundation. Contrary to the song's title, the eponymous foundation was actually given its name by Sheldon Rampton,[1] although a later post by Jimbo made it official.[2] This song was first performed live by User:cscott at the Foundation's all-hands meeting in January 2017.
Originally performed in a slow lounge-y version based on Nat King Cole's song Mona Lisa, but it is begging for a rockabilly revival ala Conway Twitty's version of Mona Lisa to catapult this song into the modern wiki-oriented rock era.
