  • Counting from left to right and then top to bottom, photos 1 and 2 are PD, photo 3 is GFDL, photo 4 is CC-BY, photo 5 is GFDL, and photo 6 is non-free (and depicts a dead person). Delete as it is not possible to legally combine CC-BY with GFDL photos. Stifle (talk) 16:12, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

      • That observation that GFDL and CC-BY can't be combined is new to me - but then, couldn't you technically work without this montage anyway and just use the source images separately, stuck side by side? (It's certainly technically possible to do that in an infobox). But delete anyway, because of the one non-free item. We don't use them in a "decorative" context like an infobox gallery.     • Is it non-free because it's currency?, is that the reason why wikipedia can't keep it? Or is it because his dead?
      • The trouble is with the currency picture. Basically, we don't really know what its status is, because the original was uploaded here with a nonsensical copyright claim. Depending on the laws of the country, it may either be public domain or copyrighted by the state, I couldn't tell without checking the law. But it's most certainly not GFDL, as the uploader claimed. If it's copyrighted, it's excluded, because we don't use non-free images in decorative galleries like this. My recommendation is: Just get rid of this collage, use a combination of individual, separate images in your infobox, that way you're much more flexible, and just leave any doubtful ones out.   • There are over 10,000 species of millipedes. It is senseless to keep a photo that is poor quality and unidentified when it is unclear whether the uploader even knew what he was doing when he tagged it PD.   • Image is likely not an accurate representation of the Banner of the Inca Empire and should thus be deleted unless a case can be reasonably made vindicating its right as an encyclopedic reference or source. Jrtman (talk) 19:58, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep: It's the best available representation (e.g., the flag used in a photo). The colours might be a bit off (difficult to say), but I don't see otherwise why this qualifies to be deleted. Certainly, a good source would be nice to add.+mt 20:16, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - it makes sense as a representation of the modern flag of the indigenous movement, as it is apparently in current use in some such function. As an historical representation of a symbol of the actual Inca Empire it of course makes no sense whatsoever; the historical references are so vague there's no way of attempting to reconstruct that.   • This is a Wikimedia Commons image. Wikipedia admins cannot delete it. You need to nominate it at commons:COM:IFD, though Commons won't delete items in use, even if they are incorrect.   • Keep Shouldn't be a problem since nobody in their right mind would take something from the internet and try to print it. The print quality of the image would be atrocious. EDIT additionally, the print restriction is not necessarily a commercial restriction. There are online commercial entities who could use this image as it clearly states it can only NOT be used in printed mediums. Nobody of Consequence (talk) 17:50, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
