Back at FLC for the first time in a while. I think this is my first football list, as I usually focus on basketball when it comes to sports. All comments are welcome. -- ZooBlazer 19:08, 6 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Olliefant
edit- The winners category sorts by first name not last name
- "Caleb Williams game-winning touchdown pass in overtime to D. J. Moore vs. the Packers" should be "Green Bay Packers"
- "NY Giants" and "LA Chargers" the full name should be spelled out
- I think the contreversy over Belichick not getting into the Hall of Fame should be noted
- The "Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026" table should be in it's own section as it's not an award
- "[head coach] [Mike Vrabel]" is an MOS:SOB violation
- Thats what I found ping me when done Olliefant (she/her) 02:59, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

edit- You'll need to use the upright param for the images instead of a pixel size (MOS:UPRIGHT).
- "On defense, Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns was named Defensive Player of the Year unanimously, joining J. J. Watt as the only players to achieve this feat." to "Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns was named Defensive Player of the Year unanimously, joining J. J. Watt, who is the only other player to achieve this feat."
- I think "Fan of the Year" is ok, but consider adding a footnote to explain "NFL FLAG Players of the Year Award", since it doesn't have its own article. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 12:01, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

edit- "joining J. J. Watt as the only players to achieve this feat." - source?
- Ref 5 - Garrett was unanimously voted the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year for the 2025 season, following J.J. Watt in 2014 as just the second player in league history to earn a clean sweep of the award
- Put it against this sentence for total clarity -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 08:55, 8 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
- Ref 5 - Garrett was unanimously voted the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year for the 2025 season, following J.J. Watt in 2014 as just the second player in league history to earn a clean sweep of the award
- "This marked Garrett's second career win and was highlighted by a historic 2025 campaign" - the win wasn't highlighted by the campaign, it recognised it. Use a verb like that.
- "In his debut season with the team, Vrabel orchestrated a historic turnaround, leading New England to a 14–3 record following back-to-back 4–13 finishes" - source?
- Ref 10 - The franchise had endured back-to-back 4-13 seasons and added an additional ref for the 14-3 part.
- See above -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 08:55, 8 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

- "due Belichick's coaching resume" => "due to Belichick's coaching resume"
- "Caleb Williams game-winning touchdown pass" => "Caleb Williams's game-winning touchdown pass"
- For the awards with multiple winners, can you make it clearer which team relates to which winner? -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 17:10, 7 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
- They are supposed to be lined up across the whole table like the Air & Ground Players of the Year. Is that not how it shows for you? The last two awards are a little off because the high school names take two lines, but I am not sure what can be done about that. -- ZooBlazer
- I would suggest putting each on its own row and then rowspanning the first column -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 08:55, 8 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
- It's not just a suggestion; it's a requirement per MOS:DTAB. "Avoid using <br /> or <hr /> tags in adjacent cells to emulate a visual row that isn't reflected in the HTML table structure. This is a problem for users of screen readers which read tables cell by cell, HTML row by HTML row, not visual row by visual row." Bgsu98 (Talk) 13:01, 8 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

- "He became the first head coach to inherit a 13-loss team and win at least 13 games in his first year." - source?
- Ref 10 - Vrabel became the first head coach to inherit a 13-loss team and win at least 13 games in his first year - didn't realize it was basically word for word, but it's also the clearest way to word that sentence I think.
