A-Class Reviews are currently conducted at individual WikiProject level (for example at the Military history WikiProject. They sit somewhere between WP:GA and WP:FA, and are conducted by editors who have a higher level of knowledge in a given subject. Many WikiProjects either have inactive A-Class review processes or do not have one at all. This page aims to act as a "hub", giving editors the ability to see current active A-Class Reviews that are in process and A-Class Review requests at WikiProject level, along with the ability to request them on the noticeboard.
Raison d'etre: GA and FA are generally reviewed by editors who may not have a specific level of knowledge in the subject. A-Class differentiates from this by taking place at WikiProjects specifically, where there are editors who have a higher knowledge of the subject.
At this time, this page has not reached a consensus and exists only as a concept. Please do not make any official A-Class Review requests here.
