Open mapping sources list its elevation at about 99 m and show surrounding farm and plantation landscapes typical of Margibi County.[2] The broader area has a tropical monsoon (Am) climate.[3]

At the national level, Weala is represented in the House of Representatives by Clarence G. Gahr, who serves as the lawmaker for Electoral District No. 5.[6] Margibi County’s representation in the Senate comprises Emmanuel J. Nuquay of the People’s Unification Party and Nathaniel F. edit

Weala sits on the Monrovia–Kakata–Gbarnga highway system served by minibuses and motorcycle taxis (pen-pen); mapping sources show a local market and settlement core adjacent to the trunk road.[2] In 2023, Jeety Rubber provided deep-bore submersible pumps to improve access to safe water for residents in and around Weala as part of corporate-social-responsibility programs.[11]
