Commenting your edits
editHi, and thanks for your work here on Wikipedia.
It would be much appreciated if you could comment your edits, as this reduces the amount of time other editors have to spend checking edits that look like vandalism, lack of commenting being a frequent sign. All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 15:20, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
- Even with an edit summary the edits should be checked. There may be more vandalism from anons but there is a lot of bad editing from users. I did over 100,000 edits when I used my account so I know my way around WP. ~2026-81085-3 (talk) 17:58, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
- All editors are volunteers. Your duty is to avoid causing others unnecessary work. It is a simple courtesy to all other editors, both immediately and those looking back over article histories, to provide a basic commentary on your edits. Thank you for your understanding. Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Category:Yoga in society, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. - It was constructive. Go and see WP:OWN. ~2026-81085-3 (talk) 18:08, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
- It was unconstructive as a repeated attempt to force through changes that nobody else has agreed to. Repeating that behaviour is disruptive. Take to talk page, stop, or face the consequences. Chiswick Chap (talk) 18:10, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Template:Yoga. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Chiswick Chap (talk) 18:09, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.

DIsrupive? What a joke!
I am out of here. WP is still badly run by editors who do not understand what WP is used for. See ya! ~2026-81085-3 (talk) 18:13, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
