Please read WP:BRD. I reverted your edit for several reasons. In the sentence about him riding a bike home to keep his travel money, your edit made the club the grammatical subject, who saved the money. That's plain wrong. Also "bicycling" is unusual in British English (see MOS:TIES, the man has nothing to do with Britain but the first version of the page was in British English, so it shall stay). Turning "matches" to "games" is completely arbitrary as it could be one of the other, they are synonyms, except in American English where "games" predominates in ball sports. Please either get consensus for your edits on the talk page or at WT:FOOTY, if you just restore your edits over and over, it will not help your case. I have noticed you are editing to change "nationality national team" to "country national team" on lots of articles. These are separated by a few minutes, and include casual mentions on unrelated topics such as murders and fiction. Please slow down and gather consensus from others, this website has many users with different opinions. If they all edited according to their preferences, we would get nothing done. You will not be able to change every single instance to your preference, this website is too big. There is a discussion at WT:FOOTY. Unknown Temptation (talk) 07:14, 17 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
