Hello, Xandrium. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "Kanneliya–Dediyagala–Nakiyadeniya".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Haritha Villas when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Hello Zackmann, thx a lot :) You talk about the map that I tried to remove? The issue with this map is that the location is wrong. Thx again Xandrium (talk) 08:32, 10 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Haritha Villas

edit
Notice

The article Haritha Villas has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NBUILD, requires significant coverage in multiple reliable independent secondary sources. Most of the cited references are based on press releases by the hotel or accommodation websites (based on information provided by the hotel).

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.

If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion of the article at any time. Dan arndt (talk) 06:11, 23 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hello Dan arndt :) I agree with you, the sources are not good. I will try to find good ones :) Xandrium (talk) 13:05, 23 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Hikkaduwa, a link pointing to the disambiguation page Wide was added. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hounding Accusations

edit

I think my edit summary clearly explains why I have reverted some of your recent edits. You appear to be a little paranoid as I am not hounding you. I edit a wide range of pages across Wikipeida, including Sri Lankan articles, and have done so for in excess of 15 years. I keep a watch on new Sri Lankan articles, as part of my participation on WP:NPP. My watchlist also includes many of the Sri Lankan pages that I have edited. My edits on those have been either to add new sourced information or to ensure that edits meet Wikipedia's WP:MOS and are properly sourced. Dan arndt (talk) 08:52, 24 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Labeling another editor as to be a little paranoid is a direct violation of No personal attacks and Civility policies. Please comment on content, not on the contributor. Your tenure on Wikipedia does not grant you the right to use ad hominem attacks or to bypass WP:PRESERVE by deleting sourced material over minor style points. I have fixed the formatting as requested; I expect you to maintain a professional and civil tone from now on. Xandrium (talk) 12:41, 24 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Stop icon Your recent editing history at Hikkaduwa shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing a page's content back to how you believe it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree with your changes. Please stop editing the page and use the talk page to work toward creating a version of the page that represents consensus among the editors involved. Wikipedia provides a page explaining how this is accomplished. If discussions reach an impasse, you can request help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution such as a third opinion. In some cases, you may wish to request page protection while a discussion to resolve the dispute is ongoing.

If you continue edit warring, you may be blocked from editing Wikipediaespecially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's workwhether in whole or in part, or whether it involves the same or different material each timecounts as a revert. Also, please keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warringeven if you do not violate the three-revert rule if things indicate that you intend to continue reverting content on the page. Dan arndt (talk) 09:02, 24 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your message. I am well aware of the WP:3RR and WP:WAR policies. However, I must express my serious concerns regarding your recent actions on the Hikkaduwa article and other pages.
  • Pattern of Harassment: You have been systematically reverting my sourced contributions for several months. This persistent behavior across multiple articles is a clear case of wikihounding.
  • Previous Edit Warring: On April 17th and 18th, you performed three reverts in less than 24 hours on the same article. I am committed to consensus, but mass-reverting reliable sources (WP:RS) without prior discussion is disruptive.
  • Misuse of Guidelines: Citing WP:DATE as a pretext for the total removal of sourced information is a form of gaming the system. Per WP:PRESERVE, style or formatting issues should be fixed, not used as a reason to destroy encyclopedic content.
  • Infobox Removal: Removing key data from an infobox because it is "already in the body" contradicts the very purpose of an infobox, which is to provide a summary for the reader.
I invite you to follow real assume good faith and use the talk page to discuss the substance of the edits rather than continuing these mass reverts. Best regards. Xandrium (talk) 09:22, 24 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Also Infoboxes are to provide a summary not to provide extensive details, particularly where it is already provided in the article itself. Dan arndt (talk) 10:22, 24 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
As previously stated, all dates have been updated to the DD Month YYYY format to comply with WP:CITESTYLE. Regarding the infobox, its standard purpose is indeed to provide a summary of key data found in the article; removing essential summary data simply because it appears in the body is not standard practice.
Furthermore, labeling another editor as 'paranoid' is a direct violation of No personal attacks. I have addressed your formatting concerns; per WP:PRESERVE, please refrain from further mass-deletions of sourced content and images. Xandrium (talk) 12:46, 24 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
  • As per WP:NOTGALLERY, any images should relate to encyclopaedic content and not just be a collection of images. They should be added to Commons and a link added. Dan arndt (talk) 02:25, 25 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
  • I think you need to have a closer look at what wikihounding actually means. All I have ever done is correct fundamental editing and formatting errors on articles - which have mostly been on my watchlist since before you joined Wikipedia. I have tried to outline in my edit summaries what the justification for those changes are, in line with Wikipedia guidelines. I have better use of my time than to stalk editors like yourself. However I will continue to correct ongoing mistakes wherever they occur, whether they are yours or others. Dan arndt (talk) 02:43, 26 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
