Hi Njd-de. Thank you for your messages. My updates were not promotional. I was updating the pre-print to the published version of our paper - after 4 years of work. The paper has been published in Journal of Economic Methodology and is available here (on Public Access): https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/1350178X.2026.2670997
I understand and respect the policies of Wikipedia. LIke you, I scour the pages for untruths and inconsistencies. I trust you appreciate that the proposed amendments (that you undid) are simply academic updates, and legitimate ones. Please advise if I should repeat these or not now that you understand my motivation is not promotion. Kindly advise. Wokalop2 (talk) 05:46, 26 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Please see above. And let me know. Thanks. Wokalop2 (talk) 05:47, 26 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hi @Wokalop2, I am just noticing now that you added the reference next existing ones citing you.
So doi:10.1080/1350178X.2026.2670997 should replace doi:10.2139/ssrn.4646664?
As the article is already citing you, I guess it's fine that you just replace it.
For adding your name/your colleague's name to i.e. Philosophy and economics#Scholars cited in the literature, please request such changes on the article talk page. Generally these lists only include people with an existing Wikipedia-article. – NJD-DE (talk) 18:07, 26 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the guidance - I'll do that (replace the arXiv/SSRN with the recent publication). The preprint is on public record anyway I guess - the peer reviewed one is more credible. Noted on the name. I'll leave that one off for now. Appreciated. Wokalop2 (talk) 18:55, 26 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
