Information icon Hello, I'm Fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four. An edit that you recently made to Eric Bogosian seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications can be unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and output must be carefully checked. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please also see WP:LLMTALK regarding the message posted on the article's talk page, and read the entirely of WP:LLM. Thank you. fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 20:01, 19 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Vaughanwilliams11 upon further review of your edit, it appears to be a hallucination which was not supported by the provided source. Please do not use large language models to edit, especially not to generate text for inclusion. fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 20:05, 19 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

re: sourcing clarification for nerdist quote

edit

I’m writing this perhaps a bit too colloquially for a talk page so it’s fully transparent that this wasn’t written by an LLM. Do forgive me.

The text is a direct quote of Eric Bogosian’s own words from an April 25, 2025 Nerdist article by journalist Rotem Rusak. The quotes are verbatim and I wrote the summary. I am writing this note now. The central quote “My gay experiences were very limited” is also a verbatim quote. Verbatim quotes were used so that everything was clear, factual, sourced and non-speculative. If something needs clearing up with sourcing or formatting, do let me know, but the central point is that these are verified, sourced verbatim quotes from the subject.
