This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Usama Sarwar

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Usama Sarwar, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. --Min☠︎rax«¦talk¦» 12:43, 27 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your review of my submission on Usama Sarwar. I understand the importance of providing reliable references to demonstrate notability. However, I would like to clarify that primary sources can often be the most authentic representation of an individual's achievements. While news media can be ambiguous at times, firsthand accounts and credible primary sources can offer a clear perspective on a person's contributions. I appreciate any guidance you may have on additional references or how to improve the submission to better align with Wikipedia’s standards. Thank you for your assistance. Your account has been blocked indefinitely because your username is a clear violation of Wikipedia's username policy – it is obviously offensive, profane, violent, threatening, sexually explicit, disruptive, attacks or impersonates another person, or suggests that you do not intend to contribute positively to Wikipedia. Please see our blocking and username policies for more information.

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, but users are not allowed to edit with accounts that have inappropriate usernames, and we do not tolerate 'bad faith' editing such as trolling or other disruptive behavior. If you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, or would otherwise like to explain why you should be unblocked, you are welcome to appeal this block – read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the following text to the bottom of your user talk page: {{unblock-un|new username|your reason here ~~~~}} 331dot (talk) 13:11, 27 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Requested username:

Request reason:

I understand that my previous username and edits were seen as promotional and I apologize for this. I have read the Conflict of Interest and Neutral Point of View policies. I would like to change my username to "SoftwareEngineerPK" to comply with the username policy and I promise that, if unblocked, I will focus on improving articles related to technology and software development rather than editing articles about myself or my personal projects. UsamaSarwar (talk) 03:59, 12 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Given that up until your block, your sole interest here was promoting yourself and your products, I think you'll have to make more effort than that to convince us that you've suddenly changed. I'm also not sure that allowing you to edit in areas directly related to those in which you have a conflict of interest is a good idea. Besides which, you engaged in some pretty unsavoury behaviour including article hijacks and personal attacks against other editors (in fact, I couldn't find a single constructive edit in your history, although perhaps I just didn't look carefully enough?), and we would need to know that wouldn't continue if you were unblocked.

I suggest you read WP:GAB before submitting a new appeal.

And next time, do not use AI, or your appeal may be declined for that alone. DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:42, 12 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I am writing to appeal the block on my account. I want to sincerely apologize for the promotional editing and spam concerns associated wth this account. I previously entrusted my account access to my assistant to manage my online presence & he created this mess by doing promotional editing and trying to create promotional pages, which I now realize is indeed a severe violation of Wikipedia guidelines on shared accounts and conflict of interest. I have since reclaimed sole control of this account, changed the password, and terminated my assistant's access completely. I promise that I'll strictly follow all Wikipedia's policies, will not engage in any promotional editing, and will only contribute constructively in compliance with Wiki's community guidelines. I kindly request a second chance. Thanks! UsamaSarwar (talk) 14:36, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Your account is now considered WP:COMPROMISED. No further unblock requests will be entertained. Yamla (talk) 16:08, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
