Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

It appears you may have used a large language model (LLM), such as ChatGPT, in your edits. While LLMs are powerful, machine-generated text often contains serious flaws. They may introduce bias, errors, plagiarism, libel, or even hoaxes. Specifically asking an LLM to "write a Wikipedia article" can sometimes cause the output to be outright fabrication, complete with fictitious references. For this reason, the use of AI writing tools for the creation or rewriting of articles, alongside their usage to generate images, sources or comments, save for a few exceptions, is generally prohibited. LLM-generated articles may be quickly deleted. If you are unsure about your wording, an alternative is to suggest it on the talk page for another volunteer to look at it. If you are creating a new article, you may use the Articles for Creation process to get feedback on your work.

If you still have questions, there is the Teahouse, or you can click here to ask a question on your talk page, and someone will be along to answer it shortly. In your messages, please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and a timestamp. Happy editing! gurkubondinn 21:40, 16 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Nah dont worry, I just use it for my sandbox and userpage to play around and experiment since I'm new, but ill take your advice! thanks! Typearan (talk) 21:46, 16 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
That's not really allowed (though I doubt anyone will bother for your user page), and the WP:NOLLM guideline does not make any exceptions for user space. Editors are now routinely blocked over LLM use, so I want you to be aware from the start that this is not allowed on the English Wikipedia. Thank you for being honest about it, that is a very good sign. gurkubondinn 21:50, 16 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Ah, ok I will take a note of that, thanks kind stranger :) Typearan (talk) 01:19, 17 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
