Information icon Hi TheManWhoSoldNothing! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Dawnseeker2000 16:26, 19 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Gore, Queensland

edit

You added that it was referred to in the song title "Girl from Gore" but did not include a citation. Could you please a citation that clearly links the song title to the town. Thanks Kerry (talk) 22:19, 3 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Sure, I can see the word Gore in the lyrics (they repeat it many times) and I get they are a Brisbane band, but there is nothing they say about Gore in the song that makes any connection to the place in Queensland. They also mention Copacabana which probably isn't a reference to a place in Queensland. With song lyrics, you usually need a citation to a band member taking about the song and making a definite connection to a person or a place or an event (or whatever). I've removed it as it is already being picked up by AIs, which is the last thing we need. But feel free to re-add it if you can find a citation that makes the connection.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Breakfast at Fatboys, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rock. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

it's not biased or anything like that; the album is legit rap rock and you can listen to it yourself if you don't believe me, but fine 👍 TheManWhoSoldNothing (talk) 15:30, 28 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
