Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Natarajan Chandrasekaran when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. • @Zackmann08: Thank you for contacting me, however, I am experienced enough to know what I did. I simply forgot to remove the "term_start" paramter, which you could have done instead of reverting the entire edit. I simply changed the format of the infobox to {{infobox person}}, which is more suited to business executives. The officeholder inbox is, as its documentation and guide suggests, for politicians, judges etc, not generally for business executives. In addition, this doesn't appear to be an appropriate use of this warning template.Tærkast (Discuss) 20:08, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
Your edit summary did not explain this and did in fact break the infobox. Not going to argue over whether it is the appropriate use of the infobox. I don't really care. When you fail to use preview and therefore throw a page into a maintenance category, you cannot hide behind the label of being experienced. We ALL make mistakes, myself absolutely included. But you don't get to be offended when someone points out that mistake. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 02:04, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
  • @Zackmann08: Yes that was my oversight, and the response somewhat heated, for which I apologise, that was out of line. I had a bad day, which is no excuse. --Tærkast (Discuss) 19:34, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
We've all been there. Appreciate the apology. No harm no foul. Have a great evening. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 03:20, 25 February 2026 (UTC)
