The 'Hungarian Freedom Fighters Federation' is a name used by numerous different entities. The one founded by Bela Kiraly being referenced to in this document appears to be a group founded after the revolt in 1957. It is debated whether any funding was given during the revolt. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/338717711_Mazurkiewicz_Anna_Ed_2019_East_Central_European_Migrations_During_the_Cold_War_A_Handbook_Berlin_Boston_De_Gruyter_Oldenbourg_Retrieved_21_Jan_2020_from_httpswwwdegruytercomviewproduct506317#page=187 Davejavuh (talk) 22:02, 19 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Davejavuh Appreciate the link. Definitely worth mentioning that in the article, in my opinion. Previous revision essentially claimed the document was "proof" of CIA involvement in the revolt, and my rev was intended to more accurately reflect what was actually mentioned in the cited doc. - No problem, there seems to have been a lot of sensationalism on blog sites today spreading inaccurate information on the source. Davejavuh (talk) 22:13, 19 March 2025 (UTC)
Your username
editHey, just saw some edits you made to an article on my watchlist, and I was just wondering: is your username an obscure Steely Dan reference? Daniel Case (talk) 21:53, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
1/4
editThanks for your edits to Christopher Hutton. Note that the correct syntax for 1/4 is 1⁄4 and not 1+⁄4. I fixed it. --Macrakis (talk) 05:10, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
