I prefer a strong black tea myself; sometimes with mint or bergamot. Ahem. I came across your work and I'm surprised you're not getting more praise. Thanks for your efforts in the fields of Palaeontological illustration and other stuff likewise buried in the Earth.

Could you help at Kızılırmak Formation?

edit

Love your work. Could you add a phonetic spelling to the article's lede? The page title uses non-standard characters for English Wikipedia, so it's a hard name for an average reader to sound out correctly. BusterD (talk) 12:22, 19 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Sure, I see that the Kızılırmak River has a phonetic spelling so I assume I can use that, I don't speak Turkish so I wouldn't really know what to do otherwise. SeismicShrimp (talk) 12:42, 19 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Dundee Limestone, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dolomite. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

I think your article about the siltstone in Antarctica is worth the final push to a good article. I don't think its all that far off.

I plan to add information for the taxa at some point in the future but I a lot of them are so obscure that I don't know where I'd find the info. Anything else I should add to it besides that? SeismicShrimp (talk) 16:48, 24 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Recent Arthrodiran life restorations

edit

Hello! I have seen your recent restorations of various Arthrodiran fish, from Aspinothoracidian Selenosteids, to Coccosteomorph camuropiscids. I must say, they look incredible, and are definitely a breath of fresh (accurate) air from the previous taxobox restorations from years ago. The proportions are reasonable considering the recent studies by Engelman, and the color schemes are stunning. You are a great artist and I am pleased that there are other people illustrating this beautiful and fascinating group of extinct animals better, using the studies that have done wonders in better understanding the Placoderms. On another note, your Compagopiscis croucheri is one compact barrel! And I thought Dunkleosteus terrelli was the placo-chonk of the century! PlacodermReconstructions (talk) 03:57, 17 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thanks so much, I really need to do more placoderm recons soon but I've been pretty busy with other stuff. I'll probably start on some more soon. SeismicShrimp (talk) 16:15, 17 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hello, SeismicShrimp,

Thank you for creating Stevenscamelus.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

I don't have the knowledge but from looking at other "prehistoric camelids" in the category, we could usefully add to the categories offered? thanks.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Aszx5000}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.
