BBC is a "reliable source" here. Basa isnt. Also, early information is less reliable. It's not "someone's birthday", it's the perpetrator's birthday. All Wikipedia articles about mass shootings provide the dates of birth of perpetrators. TwoThousandWeeks (talk) 03:17, 30 April 2024 (UTC)

Hello! Thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia, and in particular for adding references! However, adding a bare URL is not ideal, and exposes the reference to link rot. It is preferable to use proper citation templates when citing sources, including details such as title, author, date, and any other information necessary for a bibliographic citation. Here's an example of a full citation using the {{cite web}} template to cite a web page:

which displays inline in the running text of the article as:

If you've already added one or more bare URLs to an article, there are tools available to expand them into full citations: in the wikitext editor, try the reFill tool, and in the Visual Editor, the reference dialog can convert some bare urls into a full citation. Hello there SecondThirdandSixth. I'm not coming off as harsh, but the edit you made on the Kerch Polytechnic massacre is partly(?) wrong. Vladislav was definitely influenced by the Columbine shooting, He wore a similar outfit to Eric Harris, he also committed suicide in the library, placed his explosives in the cafeteria, and reposted a image of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebod in the cafeteria of Columbine Highschool in his VK. And about the misanthropy, he didn't publicly said he was a misanthropist,but he had said that he hated people. I'm not being angry or anything, just informing you! You didn’t provide sources

Hello!

I see you undid my revision to the "See Also" section of the Kerch Polytechnic College massacre. I did add my revisions back, but to prevent an edit war, I will explain why I believe my revision should stay.

The way you insist on the See Also section being is not typical in many articles. In fact, it is not supported in the Manual of Style for the section.

Also, as an extra thing, you feel the need to add a year to the incidents and further specify what happened. This is not needed. Just simply link to the article name. No need for the year unless the title has one.
