Unsourced additions

edit

Hi there. I have just reverted a large number of your edits (probably more than half) because they consisted of addition of unsourced material. Please be aware that citing sources is not optional - it is an unalterable requirement for all editors. See WP:Verifiability for the relevant policy. If you can't cite it to a reliable, published source, it can't go in. Your personal experience, I am afraid, counts for nothing in this respect, because you would essentially be asking the reader to trust a random anonymous person on the internet about this information. Also be aware that crowd-sourced sources, such as the Humble Fish forum, are also not usable - see Wikipedia:Reliable_sources#User-generated content. Essentially, all content needs to have been published in some kind of peer-reviewed format (be that journal article, professionally curated database such as FishBase, or editorially overseen source such as newspapers or books). What a tragic loss of functional information. I'll cease my additions. It seems that Wikipedia is censored after all.
