For anyone wondering, the dispute here is not about censoring offensive content...it's about a quote making bold claims that don't appear elsewhere in the article PositivelyUncertain (talk) 19:55, 17 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Notification of proposed decision

edit

Hi PositivelyUncertain, in the open Maghreb arbitration case, which you have commented on, a proposed decision has been posted. You can review the proposed decision and draw the arbitrators' attention to any relevant material or statements. Comments may be brought to the attention of the committee on the proposed decision talk page. For a guide to the proposed decision, see Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Party Guide/Proposed decision. Yeah, that's not me

edit

I did lose my password, and I said as much in an ECP restoration request, but whoever this person is, it's not me. Probably Golikom, it turned out he was my wikistalker all this time. Snokalok2 (talk) 20:45, 10 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

So you really did lose your password but set up Snokalok2 and B was your wikistalkers account? Talk about a plot twist. Damn even after all these months they are still watching you like a hawk. That's kind of unnerving. And the stalker was Golikom? I just assumed it was a random troll who latched onto you, not a former editor. Sorry you have to deal with this insanity. Hopefully you get back that special TA tool too. PositivelyUncertain (talk) 01:10, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yeah that's pretty much the sum of it. I've gotten my ECP back so far, so that's nice. And yeah, I never would've expected Golikom either of all people, just - such a classic case of "It's always the quiet ones" Snokalok2 (talk) 01:14, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Further reading

edit

I don't disagree with you that a book about anthropology might not be appropriate on Man (its more suited for Human), but I wouldn't ever use price as a reasoning to remove a source/further reading. Many folks have access to such texts through libraries, and $120 is on the cheap side for textbooks. In fact, its free through the Wikipedia Library. Thank you Captain Eek! I appreciate you pointing the price point out to me and also noting that it's free on Wikilibrary. I didn't realize it includes textbooks too. Obviously I'm a newish/green editor so the feedback is very helpful :) PositivelyUncertain (talk) 02:31, 31 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
