editThanks for creating LGBT Mormon suicides and homelessness, Pastelitodepapa!
thank you
editthank you for all your work cleaning up Black people and Mormonism. I had done a lot of work on the page in 2017, but I haven't been able to maintain upkeep on the page. I work at the BYU Library, so if you need access to any sources, I'm happy to help by emailing you a scan of a book chapter or similar. Rachel Helps (BYU) (talk) 16:30, 17 February 2023 (UTC)

For the incredible work of making some of the most interesting articles about Mormonism on this site. You go girl!

Thanks for moving the List of animated series with LGBTQ characters: 2020–present page
editI had been meaning to do a move myself, but I was too busy to do so. I did fix the "List of animated series with LGBT characters: 2020–2024" page to "List of animated series with LGBTQ characters: 2020–2024" today. Historyday01 (talk) 13:16, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- No problem! Thank you for moving that. It seems like most of Wikipedia's article titles are now caught up with the move to the preferred LGBTQ initialism. Pastelitodepapa (talk) 22:42, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
Gendered inequality in exaltation
editHi, Pastelitodepapa. In the section mentioned above, from "Exaltation (Mormonism)" you state that "Current LDS policies would allow an exalted man to be sealed to unlimited wives, while an exalted woman can only be sealed to one husband." This is somewhat true, as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has allowed, for a short time, plural marriage, however this was in the past. The wording make it sound as if plural marriage is continued today. I think it may be clear to write that, "A man who was sealed to multiple wives, when the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints allowed plural marriage, can be exalted with his spouses." Just some clarification. I willing to learn your opinion on the matter too. Knotsworth (talk) 00:23, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
- I will reply on the article talk page for other editors to be able to contribute. Pastelitodepapa (talk) 06:18, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hey, @Pastelitodepapa. In the Gendered Inequality in Exaltation you use university sources to describe the policy of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, when you say "Current LDS policies..." you are describing the Church's policy. I used sources directly from the Church Policy such as with this. I appreciate that you get everyone's opinions on the matter by using a variety of sources, but I do think it would be best to use the Church's Policy to describe the Church's Policy. Some of your sources are only interpreting the Church's policy rather than getting it straight from the source. Also see Talk:Exaltation (Mormonism). Anyways, I am willing to learn what you think about it. Thanks! Knotsworth (talk) 23:58, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
- I responded on that talk page so other editors can discuss to ensure consensus. Pastelitodepapa (talk) 01:23, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
