Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Rieko Kodama, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 12:28, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Bagumba. Your recent edit to the page Doc Rivers appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 16:01, 16 May 2023 (UTC)
- I added a blurb explaining Rivers' accomplishment to the team before his departure, like shown elsewhere on his page. Let me know if it's excessive. ParXivalRPT (talk) 22:58, 17 May 2023 (UTC)

Why I added other elite qb's names to the Lamar Jackson page
editThanks for your attention to the edits on Lamar Jackson's page. I noticed that you deleted references to Rothlisberger and Manning. I purposely included them to demonstrate that there has been a change in the perception of Jackson as a quarterback since this last entry in that section:
Concerns, however, have been raised on his ability to play as a pure pocket passer when the run game is contained.[174] Jackson's passing concerns began during his college tenure with Louisville.[55][175] Over the years, most analysts have cited improvement in his passing ability,[176][177][173] but he is rarely mentioned with the elite passers in the league.[178][179]
Clearly that perception has changed as a result of Jackson's achievements in the 2023 season «Marylandstater» «reply» 15:32, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
- I see. I saw them as random references, and there are 2 other quarterbacks (Kurt Warner and Tom Brady) who have also accomplished the feat. It also didn't feel biographical to include the fact, since it's unknown if he'll accomplish it a fourth time.
- But I have no problem if you want to undo my edit and restore it to yours. ParXivalRPT (talk) 16:03, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
Prince Tega Wanogho
editHello. I use the basis from this article: List of date formats by country. He is from Nigeria, which qualifies for DMY, but it can be difficult to find which format is acceptable if a player is from outside of the USA but has been here a while if their article does not say they have emigrated. Nothing I put on those articles are concrete so feel free to change if you see fit. Best wishes Red Director (talk) 00:01, 19 March 2024 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 18
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Heather Shaw, a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rochester was added. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

edit
Hi ParXivalRPT! I noticed that you recently made an edit at Bricks & Minifigs–Reckless Ben controversy and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Belbury (talk) 15:45, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
- Sometimes I can't tell if it changes the entire meaning of an article - I mostly go in trying to clean up, haha. Sorry in advance if that becomes an issue.
- While I have you here - I deleted the footnote because it was referenced already at the top of the paragraph. I don't see reason to have that footnote annotated twice (or more) in a paragraph. ParXivalRPT (talk) 16:01, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
- By ticking "minor edit" you're telling other editors that you are sure it doesn't change the meaning, so if you aren't sure how much it does that, it's better to leave it unticked.
- On footnotes, text-source integrity is important: the reader should know where to look if they want to check or find out more about a statement. It can be okay to only put a footnote at the end of a paragraph, to show that the source supports that whole paragraph, but if a footnote is only at the start it makes it look like the later content doesn't have a source. Belbury (talk) 16:43, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
Please try to keep the above in mind. Adding the sentence On June 9, Schneider released a 2-minute YouTube video explaining that the courts have sided with BAM in refusing to allow him to speak further on this subject without legal consequence.
to an article is not a minor edit. We should also be careful when citing primary sources like YouTube videos, under WP:ABOUTSELF: we can't quote "claims about third parties" from such sources, we should wait for WP:SECONDARY source coverage. --Belbury (talk) 16:53, 9 June 2026 (UTC)
