Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Arthropoda described in 1862
edit
A tag has been placed on Category:Arthropoda described in 1862 indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 17:24, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
Monotypic genera
editPer WP:MONOTYPICFAUNA, I've reverted your article back to a redirect from the species to the genus, and changed the taxobox back to a species box. The genus and species are handled in a single article. - UtherSRG (talk) 15:25, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of MMutotylaspis tripudium†
edit
A tag has been placed on MMutotylaspis tripudium† requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hqb (talk) 12:50, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
Revert explanation
editHi! I just wanted to give a little more elaboration on my Aulacocerida revert. Mindat is a direct information site for minerals and mineral deposits, but is a wiki-style website and needs to be cited with caution. Its not actually a direct information site for fossils though, its simply an aggregator of data from other sources, usually Paleobiology Database. Its a good practice to use the original source and not mindat in such cases as to provide clearer data visibility. PBDB will also give its original sourcing which if possible is the best option to cite if applicable. Best regards in your editing. --Kevmin § 00:22, 5 October 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Daihuoides
editHello Noears6,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Daihuoides for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. FireflyBot (talk) 05:06, 26 April 2026 (UTC)
Angela
editThe correct header for the functional article should be "Angela (mantis)". The word "genus" should never appear in a disambiguation title because it is not even specific enough to recognize what kingdom something is in. It could be a plant, for all a reader knows. You have unfortunately made the Angela (mantis) article a redirect to Angela (genus), when it should be exactly the other way around. Dyanega (talk) 23:25, 27 April 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for telling me, I have tagged Angela (mantis) for speedy deletion so I can move Angela (genus) to it. Adam Moran (talk) 23:29, 27 April 2026 (UTC)
