@Kowal2701: Thank you very much! Kanem–Bornu seems historically overlooked for sure. I was hoping to be able to write more about its culture and people beyond what I managed in the Society section but maybe those studies simply haven't been written yet :)

It’s really well written and researched, the only thing I think may be missing is an economy section, but it’s discussed a lot in the history section so is probably alright. Unfortunately social history is often neglected in African history. Idk how useful these sources are? (sorry to bombard you) . Hello and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I saw that a category you created, Category:Battles in 1900 has not been used on more than one page. According to the guideline Wikipedia:Categorization, categories should be populated with multiple articles. Please help by adding other articles to the categories you create. @Smasongarrison: Ah. I'm sure more will be added over time, it felt inconsistent to not use "Battles in 1900" when other battles have categories for the year they took place. Megartonius (talk) 21:00, 27 September 2025 (UTC)

I appreciate your explanation. However, expecting other people to populate the categories you make isn't a good attitude for categorization. Please populate the categories you make with multiple pages. ^SMason_Garrison 21:08, 27 September 2025 (UTC)
