Your submission at Articles for creation: Christophe Ramstein (December 23)

edit
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Davidwr was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
First, there is only one reference. I put it through Google Translate. The mentions of this person in the text part of the reference are nowhere near significant coverage. Based on the photo credit, I question how "independent" this source is from the company Noveto Systems. Reading through the body of the draft, it looks like this person isn't much more than a typical high-level executive. While that's all good for him and his family, it doesn't necessarily mean that this person meets Wikipedia's notability guideline. Please read WP:Your first article, WP:What Wikipedia is not, WP:Notability, and WP:Notability (people) before continuing. If you think you can find reliable sources that are independent of the subject that together, demonstrate significant coverage of this person, then he MIGHT be notable. Note that press releases and "warmed over press releases" are useless in assessing "notability." If you think you can demonstrate notability, please also read WP:Referencing for beginners, WP:Biographies of living persons, this page on in-line citations, and this page discouraging you from using too many references. If you wind up using more than a handful of references, which is very likely given the detail of this draft, please put the "best 3-5" on the talk page as well. By "best 3-5" I mean the ones that, taken together, make the best case that this person is indeed "notable" by Wikipedia standards.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Some reading that might help your submissions be accepted

edit

If you have not already done so, please read WP:Your first article, WP:Notability, WP:NCORP, WP:Neutral point of view, and WP:Referencing for beginners. Also at least skim every policy and guideline mentioned in WP:Policies and guidelines and at least skim WP:What Wikipedia is not.

You should also read WP:Conflict of interest and WP:Paid-contribution disclosure, because if either of these apply to you, it will affect how you edit. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 🎄 02:00, 29 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: Noveto Systems (January 17)

edit
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Kieran207 was:
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Article appears to just be a promotional piece for Novato Systems.Wikipedia is NOT free ad space. I wouldn't be so suspicious if it weren't for the fact that page author has made literally no edits outside of Novato systems. Please rewrite this article and remove bias. Thanks.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.
