See also vs Further reading
editHi, a quick note about your sandbox: the "See also" section should list wikilinks to other articles, see MOS:SEEALSO; additional publications should be instead listed in a section called "Further reading", see MOS:FURTHER. Jaqen (talk) 07:47, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
- @Jaqen ok, I'll fix it Loscimmio (talk) 08:16, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
Sandbox review
editHi, a few notes about your sandbox:
- in your case it is probably better not use boldface at all in your lead section, see MOS:AVOIDBOLD
- I would avoid that bullet list in the lead section, see MOS:EMBED
Later prof. Raos will share a video in which Marco explains some things you should all pay attention to. Jaqen (talk) 12:43, 10 July 2025 (UTC)

Images
editHi, please add a complete citation in the source field of the information template in the file description page of the images you uploaded on Commons (eg File:Rolling-sliding.png). Jaqen (talk) 14:27, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
Dynamic torque sensor moved to draftspace
editThanks for your contributions to Dynamic torque sensor. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has too many problems of language or grammar, it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and there is too much peacock and other issues. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Ldm1954 (talk) 16:57, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
I have sent you a note about a page you started
editHi Loscimmio. Thank you for your work on Gear failure mechanism. Another editor, Ldm1954, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
This page needs a major rewrite. It is written in apparent ignorance of the substantial, existing articles on Wear, Tribology and related issues. For instance, the #Wear section is quite bad, no mention of third bodies etc. There is more than this, for instance the substantive page Pitting, Fatigue (materials). Inadequate preparation, please read Dunning–Kruger effect.
To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Ldm1954}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)
Gear failure mechanism moved to draftspace
editThanks for your contributions to Gear failure mechanism. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and too many unsourced statements, too many oversimplifications and some errors of science.. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Ldm1954 (talk) 10:11, 22 July 2025 (UTC)

Absurdum4242 (talk) 06:08, 23 September 2025 (UTC)Mechanisms of gear failure article
editHi there, I just approved the Mechanisms of gear failure article out of AfC, however, I’ve got a question. Was this article perhaps translated from a Wikipedia article in another non-English language wiki? It seems to have artifacts consistent with it haveing first been written in… German maybe? And then run through a translator. If this is the case, remember that you need to acknowledge the origami article(s) on the talk page, to avoid copyright issues. This link tells you how to go about doing this.
