Capitalization guidelines

Hi! I've noticed you've made a few edits changing "the Beatles" to "The Beatles." While this is understandable, as it's how some sources write the name, the community has already taken a vote and decided that the "the" should be lowercase on Wikipedia. The official guideline can be found at MOS:THEBAND. If you feel strongly that that should be different, then feel free to start a discussion on Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Music. If not, then feel free to go on editing while keeping that in mind. As long as you're acting in good faith, you'll never get in trouble for "breaking" a policy, and you don't have to worry about memorizing all of them. ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
