- Cheers to you, too. Lindenfall (talk) 22:59, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
I note you have added content regarding a non-notable individual indicted but unconvicted of a crime to multiple articles on law firms. Please read WP:BLPCRIME, and note that inclusion of such material (particularly in articles where the actual subject's involvement is peripheral) is almost certainly contrary to policy.
I shall shortly be reverting this content, unless I see any response from you. AndyTheGrump (talk) 19:14, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
- Hello. Point taken. However, I do not see the event as peripheral to the firms where it has been added. An insider trading informant network of 30 lawyers spanning several law firms is not peripheral. I'm still ascertaining which law article to add it too, as well. Despite your note here, I see that you're already reverting, mere minutes from your adding of this section, despite " unless I see any response from you". This is more a matter for the article's Talk pages.Lindenfall (talk) 19:39, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
- I made the first revert before realising that you'd added similar content to multiple articles. As for whether this belongs on article talk pages, maybe. Or perhaps, on WP:BLPN, since it involves multiple articles. Meanwhile though, I can see nothing in your comment above that explains how WP:BLPCRIME doesn't apply. And without such an explanation and/or consensus from e.g. a noticeboard discussion, it would seem entirely appropriate to keep this out of article space. When it comes to content on living persons, we err on the side of caution as a general principle. AndyTheGrump (talk) 19:46, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
I can remove individual names where there is no guilty plea. Lindenfall (talk) 19:57, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
