WP:NACADEMIC criterion 5: Joseph Cummings Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northwestern University, a named chair at a major institution.
WP:NACADEMIC criterion 8: service as editor-in-chief of IEEE Signal Processing Magazine, documented by the IEEE Signal Processing Society's Leo L. Beranek Meritorious Service Award citation.
