Disambiguation link notification for February 12
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ottawa 67's, a link pointing to the disambiguation page Luca Pinelli was added. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Reliable sources for ice hockey
editPlease read WP:RS before continuing to add more sources. You added StatMuse.com as a source at Cale Makar (for example, this link). I must note that it was discussed more than once in the past and it was determined that StatMuse.com is not a reliable source. You are supposed to support your claims by looking at websites like NHL, ESPN, Sportsnet, TSN, The Hockey News or similar that are reliable. – sbaio 20:55, 23 February 2026 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Minnesota wild prospects
edit
A tag has been placed on Category:Minnesota wild prospects indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 07:18, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
Player categories only go in when a player has played a game for a team; Dexheimer gets the Category:Iowa Wild players cat because he played two games for Iowa, but not the Category:Minnesota Wild players one because he hasn't played any games for Minnesota. The Kip (contribs) 17:28, 27 April 2026 (UTC)

Hello there. I'm dropping by because I watchlist WP:Good article nominations, and I happened to notice that the review for the above article was begun and completed in roughly twenty minutes, which seemed surprising. Looking at the review page, I see a rubber stamped pass with the only critical comment being To make it go above and beyond, i'd make sure we cite everything possible
. This seems to fall short of what is expected of a complete GA review. Even if you didn't find a single actionable item that could be improved in this 6,600-word article (which, to be fair to the nominator Conyo14, this does seem to be a very well written article), per WP:GANI#R3 there at least needs to be evidence that a spot check of the sources was performed: This must include a spot-check of a sample of the sources in the article to verify that each source supports the text in the article that it covers, and that no copyrighted material has been added to the article from the source.
I appreciate your willingness to perform reviews, and I'm not trying to dampen your enthusiasm, but I'd recommend giving the reviewing instructions a thorough read, taking a look through some completed GA reviews, and perhaps requesting a mentor before taking on another review. Feel free to ping me if you have any questions. DrOrinScrivello (talk) 23:03, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
Your nomination of 2025–26 New York Rangers season has failed
editYour good article nomination of the article 2025–26 New York Rangers season has
failed. See the review page for more information. If or when the reviewer's feedback has been addressed, you may nominate the article again. Message delivered by ChristieBot, on behalf of Kline -- Kline (talk) 02:01, 8 May 2026 (UTC)

The page Christoffer Sedoff has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it was a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion review. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Maxim Barbashev when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.

LLM use
editHello and thank you for your recent contributions. However, it appears like you may be using the help of LLM tools during the creation of these articles. Please stop. This is no longer allowed on Wikipedia. Thank you, JTtheOG (talk) 18:07, 20 May 2026 (UTC)
- Hey there! I was under the impression LLMs are allowed to be used durign copyediting. That being said, the amount I used it on some of the pages was probably more than the alloewd amount. I will refreain from using it to this extent in the future. Thank you! Kivi36 (talk) 18:33, 20 May 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, WP:LLM allows the use of LLM tools for basic copyediting, but it's pretty clear from the language used in the articles that LLM tools are being used to generate text, which as you pointed out, goes beyond what is allowed. Thank you, JTtheOG (talk) 19:06, 20 May 2026 (UTC)

editI know, Larkin's trade request is big news and I understand wanting to be the one to break the news on Wikipedia. But please, don't hurry so much that you put it in the wrong section. I should not have to move that NHL-career information from "International play" to "Playing career". mftp dan oops 20:09, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
- My apologies. I do appreciate you pointing out my error. That being said, I feel as though there could have been a more respectful way to put it. I know there's a whole don't bite the newbie thing and I'm not fully a newbie, but I'm still figuring my way out around these parts. Either way, I feel everybody should deserve respect and the last line of that message just felt unnecessarily snarky and rude. @MFTP Dan Kivi36 (talk) 20:11, 4 June 2026 (UTC)

- @Kivi36 going to piggy-back off this - same goes for the Laviolette hiring. We’re not in a rush to update the article, it’s best to wait until the hiring is officially announced just in case it somehow falls through (see WP:SPORTSTRANS). Wikipedia doesn’t have to be immediately up to date. The Kip (contribs) 00:49, 9 June 2026 (UTC)
- @The KipThanks! I did add the do not change anything banner til hiring goes through. The addition I made was a potential thing and talked about how they might hire that way it still sticks if the hiring slips Kivi36 (talk) 17:13, 10 June 2026 (UTC)

The article Brody Lamb has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
page created using AI, only significantly edited by creator, violation of WP:NEWLLM
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.
If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion of the article at any time. DraconicDark (talk) 20:29, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
