Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Japanese diaspora, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Czech. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:56, 4 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Removal of lang/nihongo templates from Tokyo subway?

edit

Can you explain why you removed the lang/nihongo templates in this edit? They ensure consistent appearance of Japanese text and are critical for accessibility tools like screen readers. Asamboi (talk) 03:33, 29 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

CS1 error on Tokyo Metro

edit

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Tokyo Metro, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A missing title error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 08:06, 31 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Ginza Line

edit

The image you added in this edit was not of the Ginza Line (Marunouchi-Line is even in the image's name!). Please be more careful; some of your edits are introducing accessibility issues (including an edit above where you removed {{Nihongo}} templates for no apparent reason) and bordering on disruptive. XtraJovial (talkcontribs) 05:22, 17 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Also, do not remove banners for active RMs, as you did with this edit. XtraJovial (talkcontribs) 13:04, 18 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Tokyo Metro. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. XtraJovial (talkcontribs) 12:55, 18 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from 都営地下鉄 on the Japanese Wikipedia to Toei Subway. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:

NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.

Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. XtraJovial (talkcontribs) 11:31, 20 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Please stop stalking me and nitpicking my edits. It’s exhausting. Karlcharl (talk) 03:02, 21 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
I'd much rather not be all over your talk page, but the truth is that many of your edits are introducing issues for others – readers and editors (especially the former). At the very least, please address those issues. Thanks. XtraJovial (talkcontribs) 23:54, 21 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

AI

edit

Hi, are you using AI tools for your translating here? If so, please state, here and in all relevant edit summaries:

  • What tool(s) you are using, and what versions/models
  • What prompts, features, workflow, etc. you are using
  • What review, if any, you are doing of the output

Thank you. Gnomingstuff (talk) 17:59, 28 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

I did the translation the real way and used ChatGPT only for review. Are the edits you deleted still considered legitimate if they were marked as LLM-assisted in the edit summary, or should I rewrite everything without AI? All my edits were generated with human review anyway though. Karlcharl (talk) 02:53, 30 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
This was a delight to find on my watchlist (not really). Some telltale AISIGNS at Sapporo Municipal Subway (before I removed them): Designed for efficient operation in a snowy climate, the subway uses solid rubber tires on concrete guideways, reducing noise, improving adhesion, and ensuring reliable winter performance and The line was intended to establish a strong north–south transport corridor connecting suburban areas with the city center and major Olympic venues (bolding is mine). Even if not AI-generated, the content here still falls afoul of other guidelines such as MOS:PUFFERY.
@Gnomingstuff Thank you for your work and time. XtraJovial (talkcontribs) 17:55, 30 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Start date and age

edit

Please do not use {{start date and age}} for articles like metro systems where the time elapsed since opening is not important. Please use {{start date}} for those articles. Thank you, Pi.1415926535 (talk) 08:14, 15 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Is that an official Manual of Style guideline? I’m just following the example of the London Underground and Paris Metro articles. Karlcharl (talk) 08:24, 15 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
It follows from MOS:INFOBOXPURPOSE: The less information that an infobox contains, the more effectively it serves its purpose, allowing readers to identify key facts at a glance. The age of a system is not a key fact and does not belong in the infobox. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 09:20, 15 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
