January 2025
editHello. Please read what is already in an article before adding to it. In the article for Harri Heliovaara you added a citation from a source already used a few sentences earlier. It is fine to use a source in more than one place in the same article but you should ensure it is attributed once using the appropriate procedure Shrug02 (talk) 15:27, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for the message, I repeated the source because it was separated by several sentences, and I am not sure how to attribute it if the sentences are separated. It didn't make much grammatical sense to have the sentences together. Is there some citation procedure I should be aware of? Sorry for any confusion. I did check the article before writing it, I'm fairly sure I wrote the edit that appeared several sentences prior. Jkitch503 (talk) 17:17, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- No worries. Yes there's a way to do it. If you look at the Harri Heliovaara article you'll see how I did it with the reference you used. It's quite straightforward. When I first started I spent ages looking for different sources to avoid duplicates then someone pointed out the way to use the same source more than once and it saved me loads of time. Just looking to pass on the knowledge in the spirit of cooperation. Best wishes. Shrug02 (talk) 17:37, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you, always nice to learn something new. I changed the ref name to avoid any confusion (since ATP is a bit general). Love when I can find something to save a bit of time :) Jkitch503 (talk) 17:53, 25 January 2025 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on 2026-27 Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles men's basketball requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

EaglesFan37 (talk) 15:49, 26 May 2026 (UTC)Hi there! I wanted to let you know that I've declined your speedy deletion nomination of 2025 Indiana Hoosiers men's soccer team because your draft, Draft:2025 Indiana Hoosiers men's soccer team, isn't quite ready for mainspace. Specifically, I noticed that it does not yet have a lead section. Please add this, then you can submit the article for review. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 11:55, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
Drafts
edit
Hello, Jkitch503, I'm Bearcat. Please note that pages in draft space, such as Draft:Bryce Lindsay or Draft:Samet Yiğitoğlu, are not allowed to be categorized alongside finished articles in mainspace, per WP:DRAFTNOCAT. The pages must stay out of any categories so long as they are outside mainspace, and this is not an optional rule that you're free to disregard or ignore.
You can provisionally list categories in your draft without affecting content categories by using one of the methods described here.
As the pages has had to be pulled out of categories multiple times each in the past three days, do not readd them to categories again, because draft and sandbox pages are not allowed to be in content categories. Note as well that there can be consequences for disruption if it doesn't stop, such as page protection or deletion and/or the temporary or permanent suspension of your editing privileges. Bearcat (talk) 03:42, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
- My apologies. Wasn't aware that was what was happening. I'll leave as is! Jkitch503 (talk) 03:50, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
