There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons. In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate. Wikipedia PH Month: A Call for Collaboration
Hi!
Wikipedia Philippine Month or simply Wikipedia PH Month is a monthly online event inspired by Wikipedia Asian Month that aims to promote Philippine content in Philippine Wikipedia editions and beyond. Each participating local community runs a monthly online edit-a-thon, which promotes the creation or improvement of the Wikipedia content about a particular group or groups of people in the Philippines and the region they represent. The participating community is not limited to the Philippines. This activity also aims to encourage collaboration among Filipino contributors within the archipelago and in the diaspora and to create linkages among Filipino and non-Filipino contributors who support the main objective.

Ways to improve QR Ph

Hi, Jeth888! Thank you for your interest in writing articles for Wikipedia. I'm concerned, however, with the amount of close paraphrasing that was added onto this article. A lot of the § Overview section appears to have been copied and paraphrased, something that we don't allow on Wikipedia. Content should be written and summarized by the editor, in their own words. Besides this, this article would benefit from more sources. QR Ph has existed for a while now, and the BSP has done a lot in pushing for its implementation, such as in their "Paleng-QR Ph" initiative. This and a lot more can be detailed further in the article. Please do remember, however, to summarize in your own words, rather than copy text. Something short and simple is better than paraphrasing text from another website. Thanks!
