Disambiguation pages

edit

Please note that disambiguation pages like AICA are meant to help readers find a specific existing article quickly and easily. For that reason, they have guidelines that are different from articles. From the Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
  • Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry that mentions the title being disambiguated
  • Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
  • Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links or references - Wikipedia is not a business directory

Sorry! Thought the owner of the aica.com deserved to be on that page. Was hoping to finally get an addition! LOL.

This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

Thank you for your review @BuySomeApples. I understand the importance of neutrality and reliable sourcing. Originally, I included the FDA references, and while I think they're more valid than many of the sources on wikipedia they were rejected. I'm beginning to wonder if I should try to reclassify the page for OSSIOfiber (the brand name of the medical breakthrough) or if something else is holding the page back.
The language is from their website and the news outlet. I will attempt or more nuetral tone but that it best it come from their site.
Any specific advice would be welcome! Thank you again! Jarvisteam (talk) 14:51, 12 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
Mostly you want to try finding sources that will match WP:GNG and WP:NCORP. BuySomeApples (talk) 21:58, 12 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
