Messed up a wee bit ago, Love from the Island,
Welcome!
editHello, Jacob Lee 6939, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:Trunpet mater, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.
Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

Randall Standridge moved to draftspace
editThanks for your contributions to Randall Standridge. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and it simply can not be referenced only with evidence provided by Standridge himself. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. BoyTheKingCanDance (talk) 06:21, 13 December 2024 (UTC)
Names of things
editWikipedia has articles. It also has pages, in that Talk pages and User pages and User Talk pages are pages, but content per se is referred to as articles. David notMD (talk) 06:55, 1 March 2025 (UTC)

Keep up the good fight
editHey
I saw your chsllenge on the article on Tommy Robinson. I just want to say keep up the good fight. Wikipedia is undeniably left leaning. What you pointed out is just one example. We are used to editors labeling anything they disagree with "far right" at this point and "fascist" despite it being the furthest from. 2601:246:4000:9D0:3872:8618:D106:FF6B (talk) 19:40, 15 April 2025 (UTC)
April 2025
edit
Hello, I'm Remsense. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you unlinked one or more redlinks from World War I. Redlinks are useful and can often be helpful, so we don't remove them just because they are red. They help improve Wikipedia by attracting editors to create needed articles.
In addition, clicking on the "What links here" link (in the tools listed at the left in desktop view) on a missing article shows how many—and which—articles depend on that article being created. This can help prioritize article creation. Please only remove a redlink if you are pretty sure that it is to a non-notable topic and not likely ever to be created. Thanks! Introduction to contentious topics
editYou have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days, and you are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on any page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
