Cricket photos!

edit

Many thanks for uploading a photo of J. Samuel White's Ground, leaves just 2 Hampshire grounds still in existence needing photos! One of them is the Victoria Recreation Ground in Newport. If you are able to get a photo of the cricket ground there, that would be bloody wonderful!!! Cheers, AA (talk) 15:46, 31 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

No problem, I'm sure I can get a picture of Victoria Rec next time I'm in the vicinity. Last time I looked I could not find any match schedule for either this ground or the one in Cowes. If you know when matches are due to be played in August/September, please feel free to post dates, and if possible I can try to visit on a day when there is a game in progress. Look forward to seeing your pictures! I'm told the pavilion there is quite a nice building. I'm not sure if cricket is played there anymore? I know Newport CC used to play there until 2022, but they play at Newclose now. I couldn't find any fixtures for Cowes CC at J. Samuel White's either. They don't seem to have much of a social media presence. AA (talk) 13:13, 3 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
Hi, sorry, I completely forgot to reply here when I uploaded some pictures of Victoria Rec a while ago. Anyway, here they are.
