Writing about yourself

You are welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, but it is not a social media site for people to write about themselves. It is a quite different sort of site, a project to build an encyclopedia, so it is selective about subjects for articles. Writing about oneself is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at Wikipedia is not about YOU and Wikipedia:Autobiography.

However, if you have no interest in writing about any topics other than yourself, then please consider an alternative outlet that permits this type of writing.
