Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at User talk:Chris j wood, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Danners430 tweaks made 16:33, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
I am looking forward to reaching 81 years of age on 6th April and am somewhat concerned by your comments concerned-upon the matter stated. I would have liked to see what it was that had been brought to your attention, but cannot trace it. I was seeking advice from a long-served Wikipedia editor on a certain matter that their name had appeared upon in previous edits in the hope they would have been able to claify matters

- It was this edit here where you removed multiple unrelated threads from the editor's talk page instead of simply posting your note at the bottom. Danners430 tweaks made 07:47, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
All that I assumed that I had done was to enter a message to the person in question as an item at the foot of his talk page, as he had made a previous edit to the Wikipedia line RDT. I had no intention whatsoever of removing anything from his talk page and was somewhat surprised to hear of what had occurred. I hope that this clarifies matters as in recent posting entries to the talk pages of Wikipedia, whenever I have made a new final item on those talk pages, no such faux-pas had ever occurred.

- It's easy to make mistakes and I don't doubt it was anything but - the purpose of the message above was primarily to make you aware of it and to request you take care not to accidentally remove content in the future. Also please use the Reply button when replying to messages so the indentation works correctly. Danners430 tweaks made 09:32, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
